The Francis Frith collection of images and post cards is a treasure trove of photographs taken of the River Crouch and the immediate surroundings of Up River Yacht Club mostly from the 1950’s onwards.

All of these images are subject to copyright. I’m sure as we are publicising their collection the owners won’t mind me using one of their views of the river showing URYC’s slipway.
