We have received a request from Walter Jenkins the Treasurer at Burnham Lifeboat Station to help publicise their open day on 6 July. Unfortunately this clashes with the start of this years Club Summer Cruise.
So far 11 boats are going on the Summer Cruise to the River Blackwater. If you are not taking part in the Summer Cruise, then this might event might be for you,
Why not go by boat?
You could take the ebb tide down to Burnham and go along to this event by boat, sailing back in the afternoon. You would need to leave by 7.00am to guarantee enough water for a cruiser to get past Brandy Hole, which makes it an early start from Up River.
