August Cruise to West Mersea and the River Medway starts the sailing programme at the beginning of the month.
This is followed by Norfolk Week when our champion dinghy sailors compete in the highly competitive racing series of races host by North Norfolk Clubs.
For those not representing the URYC ‘away team’ there is another opportunity the steal the honours at Eyott Week during their week commencing Wednesday 12 August.
The away team will be in action once more at the Comet Nationals at Chipstead commencing Friday 21 August. On the same day the ‘home team’ have an evening sail at URYC.
Featured as the main event this month: Up River Week.
This very popular event runs from 27 August until, and including, Sunday 30th. A great event for family fun, for all ages, particularly the young at heart!
Very popular, especially for those camping at the club. This makes it a real adventure for youngsters.
