The Warm up Series sailed this year for the first time as a combined fleet produced some of the closest handicap racing we have ever had at Up River Yacht Club. The wins were scattered around the fleet with no one winning more than 2 races. However consistency proved to be the key and early season leader Simon Hopkins held off a strong late challenge first by Ben Harris in the Streaker and at the end in the big winds from Ian Gore with either Jack or Rose up front.
