Sailing
Dinghy racing a busy calendar; four Easter races, two evening Fun Sails and the start of the Spring Series – so something for every sailing dinghy owner, plus don’t forget, as a full club member, you can borrow a club boat for a modest donation.
Social
Easter – As there is sailing on Good Friday we plan to open the club bar from 16.00hrs on Friday immediately after the racing. This is for all members. Then have an (optional) DIY takeaway (ie bring your own food that evening). Keep an eye on the Club WhatsApp Social Group for any more info.
Many members, particularly the House Committee and bar manager, have worked very hard to get the refurbishment work done and the bar re-stocked. So why not come along and raise a glass to celebrate their achievement.
Finally, the popular Bingo Night is back on Saturday 18th of April, same format as before, keep an eye of the Social Group for start times etc.

Club kit and clothing
The link to the company supplying club branded and customised club branded clothing, are offering a new heavy weight fleece with zip up pockets. This fleece is thicker and warmer than their regular fleece. Also, the zip up pockets make it more practical for use afloat.
It is also only available in the classic logo range and is not available to customise with your boat name, or with the club 90th anniversary branding. Instead this meets the demand for a more outdoor fleece, suited to sailing and wearing ashore during cold weather.
