Up River Yacht Club members who sail cruisers can choose to go on six club rallies a year. Many include an optional race to add some competitive fun. These are weekend trips with two exceptions; the week long annual cruise in the UK and cruise to the continent.
By 2022 we had added another Cruise in addition to the Summer Cruise to our programme.. A seven day rally usually going to the Rivers Blackwater and Colne during August to offer more family friendly dates. This is also a great week for members new to cruiser sailing and for those who prefer a relaxed week in familiar waters. The emphasis is very much upon the social side of sailing with BBQ’s and opportunities to enjoy a glass or two with fellow members.
