URYC members benefit from swinging moorings that are nearest the club slipway. The annual mooring fee is set by the Crouch Harbour authority. This is exceptionally low compared to the cost of moorings from boatyards and marina companies. Click here to download a Mooring Application Form.
Because Up River Yacht Club supports sailing as a sport and pastime we do not accept motor boats. We have members who keep their motor boats elsewhere. There are also low cost moorings close by that are available for motorboats and sailing craft administered on behalf of the Crouch Harbour Authority by Hullbridge Mooring Holders Association (HMHA). A boat length limit of 9.14m (30ft) applies from Hullbridge to Brandy Hole.
Most Up River Yacht Club moorings at Hullbridge can be accessed four hours either side of high water.
To stay afloat at all states of the tide consider mooring your boat further down stream at Brandy Hole Moorings. Their deep water mooring also accommodate boats over 9.14m (30ft)

Recommended design
The recommended mooring design for the River Crouch at Hullbridge is shown below. Members are individually responsible for laying and maintaining their own mooring. Fellow syndicate members will gladly advise and assist. However, it’s important to realise that the low cost of mooring a yacht at Up River Yacht Club is a direct result of owners assuming this responsibility.
